Help your community - Shop Local
Where are you planning on doing most of your Christmas shopping this year? Local? Or do you, like most retail shoppers go elsewhere? In this economy everyone is trying to save money but in the process..... we are taking our local business support away by going to the big box department stores and national chains.
As customers, we are about to collectively spend a large portion of our annual shopping budget between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31. If we all just take a portion of what we're planning to spend this Christmas shopping season and spend it locally at businesses in our own communities we'll be helping support these independent businesses during these tough economic times.
If you join in shifting those dollars to locally owned, independent businesses, we’ll all generate 2-3 times as much economic activity in our community than if we had spent our money at a national chain. Across North America, that could mean billions of dollars of economic impact.
Let’s build an annual tradition that strengthens local economies, expands employment, nurtures a sense of community, and provides a more relaxed, fun, and rewarding gift-buying experience.

Impromptu Furniture & Fall Sale
Well, my calendar is all messed up.... thought we had a wedding to attend today so I was planning a Fall Sale for next weekend, was just reminded yesterday that it is next weekend :( So I'm having an impromptu FURNITURE & FALL SALE today and Monday! ALL FURNITURE will be on sale! And ALL FALL GOODIES TOO!! Plus get a sneak peek at some of the new Christmas goodies coming in :)

Wow, what a windy but beautiful day today..... these are days when I wish I had talked my husband into building a roof over my porch six years ago when I first opened.
I didn't even get a chance to listen in on the Buckeye game but I heard that they were able to pull off a win against Illinois...... not so good for them but a win was just what our BUCKEYES needed. GO BUCKS!
I know it's just now FALL but I'm getting things ready for the Christmas Season already..... Hope you all are enjoying this beautiful AUTUMN SEASON.
